This hotel is a gem! A perfect base for exploring the city, with tons of dining options just steps away. The upgrade to a king room was a delightful surprise, and the spaciousness, alongside a cozy smart TV for entertainment, made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

The free coffee and drinks at the lobby were a nice touch, but

the lack of natural light in my corner room was a downside. The space itself was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The separate bathroom spaces were conveniently designed for group travel, though hot water in the tub could’ve been better.

walking distance to Shijo Market, quiet atmosphere, attractive entrance

Rooms feel cramped with permanently placed Western beds!!! AC turns off too frequently, making it uncomfortable!!! Cleaning of cups needs better attention, just rinsed instead of properly cleaned!!! Laundry machines require servicing!!!

absolutely loved the 'de-constructed' bathroom design—who knew a sink next to the bed was a thing? not to mention the horrid dirty fans, clearly nobody cares about dust in their rooms. i was simply floored when i didn’t receive an upgrade for my inconvenience! couldn’t be more disappointed with such unremarkable service.

The hotel’s cleanliness was remarkable, and it is just three blocks from the Karasuma subway station, making it easy to access major shopping areas and sightseeing spots. The laundry facilities added a nice convenience for longer stays.

The receptionists' demeanor was less accommodating towards international travelers.
